About the Founder

Mara Montaño is a trained Master Esthetician, Lash Artist and founder of Beauty Bar & Lashes™ . She developed her passion for skincare and desire to uplift folks in her community with her services from her days working in the medical field on her colleagues.

A natural whenever it came to makeup or skincare, she was her colleagues’ go-to for all things beauty. After developing a natural passion for all things beauty, Mara decided in 2016 that it was time to trade in her job at Kaiser for an Esthetician license. By this time, her love for beautifying friends and colleagues “on the side” had turned into a full on passion.

Since graduating and passing the California State Board, Mara has taken her career to the next level becoming not only a Master Esthetician but San Diego’s top accredited Lash Trainer and Beauty Expert. She is truly a jack-of- all-trades, possessing a deep knowledge and passion for eyelash extensions, lash lifts, body sculpting and skin care.
